This dual-purpose interior for fashion icon Alexa Chung was conceived as a tactile, emotionally intelligent environment where life and creative work flow together. Set within a generous industrial shell, the layout divides into two zones - a creative studio and a private home - seamlessly united by a shared sense of calm, light and effortless elegance.
The atelier unfolds through a soft choreography of circular zones: pattern cutting and stitching, material exploration, informal meetings and quiet contemplation. A restrained, earthy material palette - plaster, linen, pale woods, soft concrete and living greenery - gently softens the structural austerity of exposed steel beams. Sheer curtains fluidly define and dissolve boundaries, delivering privacy without confinement. A curated library wall wraps the central volume, storing textile rolls, references and raw materials like a repository of creativity.
The home echoes the atelier’s sensibility, presenting a warm kitchen, sculptural seating and a circular sleeping area offering a retreat‑like intimacy. Together, atelier and home form a grounded, sensory sanctuary -a place to become as much as a place to create.
