Clifford Chance’s workplace in Asia was envisioned as a fresh departure from the traditional law-firm office. Instead of dark corridors and closed doors, the concept centred on a bright, contemporary floorplate organised around generous social hubs. Arrival points open directly into café-style spaces where people can pause, connect and reset before moving into client or work areas, signalling a more open and collaborative culture.
From these shared hearts, the plan branches into clearly structured neighbourhoods for teams, with meeting rooms, quiet corners and support spaces carefully layered to balance focus and interaction. Glazed fronts, precise lines and curated colour accents give the interior a sense of clarity and direction, while still feeling warm and human.
The overall ambition was to create a space that helps retain and attract talent across Asia: a workplace that feels progressive and international, yet tailored to the rhythms of legal practice - supporting concentrated work, confidential conversations and informal collaboration in equal measure.
